
5k Walk to Remember
Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) and the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center (HOC) will host a 5K walk/run in recognition of Gold Star Spouses Day, observed April 3. The event will take place Saturday, April 4, and participants are encouraged to honor a loved one by writing their name on their race bib. Baumholder Spring Fest
U.S. Army Garrison RheinlandPfalz Family and MWR will host a familyfriendly Spring Fest on Saturday, April 4, at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8895 on Wetzel Kaserne in Baumholder. The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon. Activities include a color run, agegrouped egg hunts, lawn games, face painting, photos with the Easter Bunny and a pancake breakfast. Month of the Military Child Storyland Gala
The Baumholder Library, in partnership with the Landstuhl Library, Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers, the Rheinlander Community Club, and other community partners will host the Month of the Military Child Storyland Gala on Saturday, April 18, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. The event invites families to step into a storybookthemed celebration honoring the resilience and creativity of military children. Parents and children are encouraged to dress in formal attire or storybookinspired costumes. The gala will feature music, dancing, interactive Storyland activities and more. Food will be available for purchase. Registration is not required but encouraged to support event planning.

MOMC Family Fun Event
U.S. Army Rheinland-Pfalz Family and MWR is hosting a Month of the Military Child Family Fun Event on Saturday, April 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pulaski Park on Pulaski Barracks. This event is in partnership with Ramstein Child & Youth Programs, with collaboration with the USO. It is open to children and their parents. Easter Sunday Brunch
The Sembach Community Center will hold an Easter Sunday Brunch on April 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bldg. 220 on Sembach Kaserne. The brunch is open to all community members and their guests. 2026 USAG RP Unit Level Softball Leagues
Registration for the USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Unit Level Softball Season is April 15 to May 15.Softball Season for Baumholder and Kaiserslautern is from May 25 to July 23 with games played at the Soldier Field on Smith Barracks in Baumholder and at the KAD Fields, near Daenner Kaserne, in Kaiserslautern. Army Active Duty, family members, and DOD civilians with ID cards, who are ages 18 and older, are eligible to participate. Sports Officials needed. If interested, contact your local sports office. Family and MWR is having a Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) Sale on Friday, April 17 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Bldg. 141 on Sembach Kaserne. All items are as is and all sales are final. Summer Fun with Youth Sports
Summer youth sports camps will open registration from May 4 through June 26, offering a wide range of athletic programs for children throughout the summer months. Camps will run in June, July and August, with options that include boxing, volleyball, soccer, archery, rock climbing, and dodgeball. Culinary Command Center (Creative Engagement with the Arts)
Registration starts April 1 for the Culinary Command Center’s first Creative Engagement with the Arts workshop, scheduled for May 11 at 6 p.m. at the Peter Scharff Culinary Competence Center (Kochschule, 6 Europaallee 67657 Kaiserslautern). Led by Chef Peter Scharff, the handson classes will introduce participants to basic cooking skills and food safety. Enrollment costs $10 and is due at the time of registration. Kleber Tri-Fit Cardio Madness
Registration for the Tri-Fit Cardio Madness is now to March 27 at the Kleber Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 3234/3235 on Kleber Kaserne. This is a free event. The event takes place April 1 to June 2 at the fitness center. Open to all military ID card holders, civilians ID card holders, and local national ID card holders, 18 years and above. Challenges are Tour de Kleber (stationary bikes), Kleber Marathon (treadmill or elliptical machines), and Mount Kleber (star climber machine). Open Mic Night
Open Mic Night will bring poems, songs and comedy on March 27 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. The 18+ event charges a $10 admission fee for audience members. Grill & Chill with BOSS
Join BOSS every first and third Friday to “Grill & Chill” at the Baumholder Recreation Center, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. The evening starts at 6 p.m. BOSS members will bring their own meat or meat alternative, seasonings, sides and grill their food. BOSS provides grill, propane and major grilling utensils. Free Line-Dancing Lessons
Free linedancing lessons will be offered on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month at the Kazabra Club. Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. The sessions run from 8 to 9 p.m. in Bldg. 2057 and are open to all skill levels. Participants can practice their new moves during Country Night immediately afterward, featuring music by DJ Caddy. Dog Obedience Training
Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation has dog obedience training starting at eight-weeks of age held Saturdays at the Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation Motor Pool, Bldg. 2902 on Pulaski Barracks. Classes are one hour, with time slots between 9 a.m. to noon depending on the size of the dog. Cost is $15 per dog. This fee must be paid in advance by close of business Friday either in person at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation or by calling 493-4117 or 0631-3406-4117. SOS Survivor Support Group
The Army Community Service Survivor Outreach Services hosts a SOS Survivor Support Group second Thursday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m. in Building 3820 (next to the Thrift Shop), second floor conference room on Landstuhl Post. Registration is required and must be done by 2 p.m. the day of the meeting by calling the ACS front desk at 531-2863/2851 or 0611-143-531-2863/2851. This is an ongoing monthly support group for surviving family members of deceased active duty service members.
Latin Nights at the Rheinlander!
The last Friday of the month is Latin Night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., in the ballroom of the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. The Salsa Band Borinkuba will perform live several Latin music favorites, such as Salsa, Merengue and Bachata. Food is available from 8 to 11 p.m. This event is for those 18 and older, who are I.D. card holders. No cover charge.
