Holiday Bazaar
The Holiday Bazaar is a shopper’s paradise for all your shopping needs. The Holiday Bazaar is from Friday, Nov. 7 to Sunday, Nov. 9 at the Family & MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Hours of shopping are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. There will be a multitude of vendors offering everything from pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and so much more. All prices in U.S. dollars, with only debit and credit cards accepted. Landstuhl Car Wash Winter Promotion
Landstuhl Car Wash will offer a winter special throughout November to help customers protect their vehicles from seasonal damage. Regular use of the car wash, especially the under-spray feature, helps remove salt and grime buildup that can lead to rust and corrosion. Discounted rates for the month include the Ultimate Wash for $13 and the Superior Wash for $11. Customers who receive an oil change or tire service and present a same-day receipt to the attendant—weather permitting—will receive further discounts: $12 for the Ultimate Wash and $10 for the Superior Wash.
Kaiserslautern Youth Sports Winter Season Registration
Registration for winter youth sports for the Kaiserslautern community is Nov. 1 to 29 or until teams are full. Sports offered are Basketball, Cheerleading (Landstuhl Post & Sembach Kaserne) and Wrestling (Ramstein Air Base). Age requirements vary by sports. Cost: $65 & up. Registration for winter youth sports for the Baumholder community is Nov. 17 to Dec. 14. Sports offered are basketball, ages 5 to 15, and cheerleading, ages 5 to 15. Cost is $65. A current Health Assessment/ Sports Physical must be on file and valid until March 15, 2026, to participate. Sports clinics offered are bowling (ages 8 to 15), bowling, ages 8 to 15, volleyball, ages 9 to 15, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, ages 3 to 15, indoor soccer, (ages 5 to 15) and pre-season strength and conditioning (ages 5 to 18). Volunteer Coaches Needed for Winter Season
Baumholder Youth Sports and Fitness is recruiting volunteer coaches for the upcoming winter season. Coaches are needed for basketball (ages 5–15), cheer (ages 5–15), bowling (ages 8–15), volleyball (ages 9–15), Brazilian jiu jitsu (ages 3–15) and indoor soccer (ages 5–15). Volunteer benefits include eligibility for hours toward awards and promotion, up to a 100 percent discount on sports fees for enrolled children, exclusive Baumholder sports gear and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the community and its mission. Wine and Yoga
Uncork & Unwind: Yoga with a Splash of Wine will be held Nov. 14 and 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. The 18-and-over event offers a relaxing evening of social networking followed by a rejuvenating yoga session. Admission is $15 and includes two glasses of wine. Participants must bring their own yoga mats. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just looking to unwind after a long day, this event offers the perfect blend of movement and mindfulness. Turkey Shoot
Registration for the Turkey Shoot is now to Nov. 16 at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne. The November Turkey Shoot happens Sunday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is a fun season closeout tournament with the winner receiving a free turkey and second place will get a free ham. This tournament will be standard stroke play format over 18 holes. Cost is $30 for members, $35 for early signup and $40 for day of signup. Splash Day
Check out the upcoming Splash Day on Saturday, Nov. 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Baumholder Aquatic Center, Bldg. 8897 on Wetzel Kaserne. Cost $3 for everyone, even pass holders. Participants can enjoy water activities or on the inflatable AquaTrack. Please note that swimmers must be six years old and older to participate in water activities. Registration is not required. 5K Leftover Run
Show your spirit of Thanksgiving and dress as your favorite Thanksgiving-related character for the Leftover 5k Fun Run on Nov. 29 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Family and MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Cost is $8 per runner. Cost is free for children under 12 years old. The first three male, female and child finishers will receive medals. The first 20 participants who show up at the event will receive a T-shirt from previously conducted runs. Participants can walk or run. Strollers and families are welcome. “Dinovember” at the Landstuhl Library
The annual “Dinovember” celebration is Nov. 1 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Landstuhl Library, Bldg. 3810 on Landstuhl Post. The event will feature dinosaur-themed activities, crafts, games and surprises for attendees of all ages, with a special focus on families. Halloween 5K Costume Fun Run
The Fitness, Athletics and Aquatics Program hosts a 5K Halloween Fun Run, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. at the Family and MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. The cost is $8 per person, children under 12 years old are free. Signups are at 9:30 a.m. at the event or participants can register through WebTrac on Kaiserslautern.armymwr.com. Dog Obedience Training
Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation has dog obedience training starting at eight-weeks of age held Saturdays at the Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation Motor Pool, Bldg. 2902 on Pulaski Barracks. Classes are one hour, with time slots between 9 a.m. to noon depending on the size of the dog. Cost is $15 per dog. SOS Survivor Support Group
The Army Community Service Survivor Outreach Services hosts a SOS Survivor Support Group second Thursday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m. in Building 3820 (next to the Thrift Shop), second floor conference room on Landstuhl Post. Registration is required and must be done by 2 p.m. the day of the meeting by calling the ACS front desk at 531-2863/2851 or 0611-143-531-2863/2851. This is an ongoing monthly support group for surviving family members of deceased active duty service members.
Latin Nights at the Rheinlander!
The last Friday of the month is Latin Night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., in the ballroom of the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. The Salsa Band Borinkuba will perform live several Latin music favorites, such as Salsa, Merengue and Bachata. Food is available from 8 to 11 p.m. This event is for those 18 and older, who are I.D. card holders. No cover charge.
