Bulgaria exercise puts ramstein airmen to test

Ramstein Airmen participated in a Phase I Operational Readiness Exercise March 19 to 23. Known as “THRACIAN SPRING,” the exercise prepared Airmen for a deployment to Bulgaria to help a government in crisis.

Following the Phase I exercise, an advance team from Ramstein actually went to Bulgaria to conduct training there. That portion of the training is due to conclude today.
