We asked you: “What makes Christmas markets in Germany so special?”

“Picture sipping Glühwein in a snow-covered, medieval, walled town! Don’t want to miss out on the Rothenburg (Christmas market).”

“The Nuremberg (market) is my favorite because it is right there in the center of the town with a huge church. Great gifts for Christmas.”

“Nothing compares to Rudesheim. It has a unique setting on the Rhine and is a beautiful wine and cognac town.”

“I like how they sound like how we come together in the Philippines. It’s not very commercialized, and everybody is out to celebrate the season.”

“I typically look forward to Christmas market season because it is a chance to see new places and spend time with friends. This year, I am excited to go to the Munich and Salzburg Christmas markets with my mother who will be in town for the holiday.”
