News for the Ramstein, Kaiserslautern, Landstuhl & Baumholder military communities in Germany The eleven Department of Defense Education Activity schools in the KMC have the unique opportunity to engage with local German schools and villages. These engagements not only improve the overall quality of education for our children but also foster a better understanding of, and relationship with, our host nation and community.
The Department of Defense Education Activity Europe recently released the test results for drinking water fountains and sinks in the KMC school facilities.
“We are happy and ready to help in any way that is needed,” said 1st Sgt. Ryan Sattelberg of Headquarters Company, 21st Special Troops Battalion, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, when he, along with other members of the Rheinland-Pfalz chapter of the Sergeant Morales Club and additional volunteers arrived at Sembach Elementary and Middle Schools Aug. 26.
