In the course of a long military career, CW2 Bill Michitsch, 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command G-4 food service technical adviser, has visited 28 countries and 43 states.
The Advancement Via Individual Determination program is available to more than 4,800 elementary, middle and high schools in 48 states and 16 countries and territories.
Ramstein Middle School is humming on Saturday mornings with students, teachers, community volunteers and even a principal or two who meet for Saturday Learning Academy twice each quarter from 8 a.m. to noon.
Ramstein Middle School bid farewell to longtime employee Angelika Lessmeister who retired Jan. 31.
