Gen. Roger Brady, U.S. Air Forces in Europe commander, and Chief Master
Sgt. Pamela Derrow, USAFE command chief master sergeant, visited the
Airmen of the 435th Air Ground Operations Wing March 16 to see the
unique blend of capabilities the unit brings to USAFE. The visit
allowed General Brady to hear about the work the 435th AGOW is doing
in the field to support contingency operations and build partnership
capacity in Europe.

The volunteer staff at the Tierheim animal shelter have been struggling
to cope with extra business for over a year since the closing of the
Army pet shelter at Pulaski Barracks. Since the closure, the local
animal shelters have relayed they have taken in an increased number of
American-owned pets.
