Ramstein Airmen show students career possibilities

Seventy-three contestants participated in the six-team round robin format. Students meet from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Mondays in the Kaiserslautern Elementary School library to learn skills and strategies for playing chess.

Jack Woodfork, coordinator for the event and coach, invited area schools to participate. More than 70 students from Ramstein, Kaiserslautern and Landstuhl participated. The overall district winners were from Landstuhl Elementary/Middle School.
