• Outdoor concert with the Music Association Kottweiler-Schwanden presenting “Appassionato Brass Music,” 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 24. Admission is free. Various bands perform different styles of music. The fest begins 6 p.m. today, 4 p.m. Saturday and Monday, and 11:30 a.m. Sunday. The old part of town is closed to motorized traffic. Visitors are asked to park at the edge of town, from where they only have to walk a few steps to get to the center. For details, visit www.stadt-freinsheim.de.
