The 16th Sustainment Brigade is no stranger to supporting far and wide across the European theater, but for this operation they had to expand their horizons to a new theater. The 16th Sustainment Brigade is located around Germany and Poland, a good distance from Tunisia and Morocco, Africa. This was no issue though when it came to support! Throughout the operation the 39th Movement Control Battalion offered the highest level of movement control of unit’s equipment ensuring it was available hastily, utilizing their pioneering DRAM systems – tracking it at real time. The 18th Combat Supply Support Battalion provided Life Support Areas and Field Feeding Teams to support those on ground.
