It was Thanksgiving Day on a small forward operating base in Iraq. Cpl.
Jeremy Caldwell decided to go to the dining facility to enjoy a
Thanksgiving meal. As the chaplain began to bless the food, a loud
explosion was heard. A mortar landed behind the dining facility,
injuring several Soldiers.

dangers of driving under the influence, driving while intoxicated and
other alcohol-related incidents. DUI/DWI incidents have steadily
increased in the KMC.
