As U.S. Air Force Gen. Philip M. Breedlove prepares to take command of U.S. European Command and NATO’s Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, he acknowledged U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa Airmen and their importance to the United States’ national defense strategy.
Once upon a time, the inspector general approached inspections as the mode to identify and eliminate problems. Today, the IG has been redesigned with a more efficient way to accomplish the same goals while ensuring readiness is maintained.
Lt. Gen. Eric Chimese, Zambian air force commander, along with a team of senior-military officials, visited U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa headquarters, giving them a chance to further military relations and improve the partnership between the U.S. and Zambian air forces.

The week of April 22 at the Ramstein Aquatic Center, the first participants in the center’s swim challenge made it past 100 kilometers. Elaine and Dennis Edwards made it to this amazing milestone within mere days of each other.
The pressure is on for military students (and their parents) as we reach those final months of school and everything that comes with them — standardized tests, end-of-term papers and final exams.
After a full school year of preparing, advanced placement course exams will finally be distributed between Monday and May 17. Test taking can be stressful, so it’s important to be fully prepared and ready to tackle the exams.
Hard-working students deserve recognition, so the Army & Air Force Exchange Service is rewarding military students in grades 1 to 12 who maintain a “B” or better average with the “You Made the Grade” program.
