The vet clinic sees more than 40 clients a day and does more than 300 vaccinations in a month, making it the second busiest vet facility overseas.

A blood drive was held Tuesday near the Ramstein Southside Fitness Center. The blood drive was hosted by the Armed Services Blood Program and put together by the 352nd Network Warfare Squadron, Detachment 1.

Maj. Gen. Aundre F. Piggee, commanding general of 21st Theater Sustainment Command, honored Mayor of Kaiserslautern Dr. Susanne Wimmer-Leonhardt and Kaiserslautern County Commissioner Paul Junker by inducting them as honorary colonels of the 21st TSC during a ceremony June 5.

‘Get it all out’ from today to Sunday

Kaiserslautern’s city center will be the stage for a street theater festival of its own kind today to Sunday. For the seventh year, Lebenshilfe Kaiserslautern (an association for the mentally disabled) will sponsor the event “Alles Muss Raus!” or, “Get it all out!” in cooperation with Lebenshilfe Arts and Culture, the City of Kaiserslautern and the Rheinland-Pfalz Culture Summer.
