First was the silence, then anxiety took hold. There was nothing the 12-year-old boy could do, except hold his father’s hand and wait for the … boom! The jet flew past, and the audience exploded with excitement, screaming for the next performance. However, the child did not move. He only reached out toward the vanishing jet as if he could grasp a faded dream — and fly.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. The month focuses on ensuring Airmen and families are aware of the resources available to aid in the prevention of sexual assault and the different types of reporting procedures available.

Staff sections of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command participated in a weeklong staff exercise designed to assess and improve staff proficiencies on select training tasks March 23 to 27 on Panzer Kaserne.

The staff exercise, or STAFFEX, was the first of three exercises that will prepare the command to participate in Exercise Trident Juncture later this year.

I remember the day like it was yesterday — my heart beat echoed in my head as I attempted to dry my sweaty hands on my jeans. I was 21 years old, sitting in a Korean courtroom, waiting to be questioned by prosecutors. How I ended up here was unreal. Just a few months ago I was happy; I had a loving husband, amazing friends and arguably the greatest job in the Air Force, but the color in my world had been stolen.
