21st recognizes Civilian of the Year

Maj. Gen. Steven A. Shapiro, commanding general, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, presented Terry Scott, 21st TSC Information Technology Specialist, with the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service, Jan. 25 at Panzer Kaserne. Scott was named the 2017 21st TSC Civilian of the Year for his role in planning the communications infrastructure for Saber Guardian 17 – April thru June 2017. The multinational exercise was conducted July 2017 on installations in Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania. “You have a tough job, lots of things can go wrong,” Shapiro said. “Thank you for your dedication to duty and ensuring things go right.” Scott played a crucial part in providing uninterrupted voice and data communication, ensuring the command’s ability to operate and conduct missions seamlessly. — Photo courtesy of 21st Theater Sustainment Command Public Affairs
