3 things to check out!

• STAP deadline: The Spouse Tuition Assistance Program provides
financial assistance to spouses pursuing a degree program with on-base
schools.  Applications are available at the Ramstein Education
Services Center, Bldg. 2120, Room 416. The deadline is July 28.

• Force Shaping and Montgomery GI Bill benefits:  Individuals who
are separated involuntarily under Force Shaping, who didn’t already
qualify for the MGIB, will now qualify to enroll. This includes U.S.
Air Force Academy graduates, all ROTC graduates, and individuals who
turned down the MGIB when first entering active duty. Lieutenants who
are being involuntarily separated under Force Shaping are advised of
their eligibility for the MGIB and should contact the Ramstein
Education Center for application procedures and other details.
 
• National Test Center Pilot:  CLEP exams are now available on
computer at Coleman Barracks in Mannheim. The test center is
located in Bldg. 50, Room 212.  All 35 CLEP exams (including
foreign languages) are available to uniformed services I.D. card
holders. Immediate score reports (except English Composition
w/Essay) are available upon completion of exams. DANTES funds the
CLEP eCBT exam fee up front; no payment required for military
personnel. Civilians pay $75. To schedule an exam, contact the
Central Texas College CLEP testing center at 382-4496 or e-mail
