During Operation Allied Refuge the 39th Movement Control Team, of the 16th Sustainment Brigade, worked hand in hand with the Air Force out of Ramstein Air Force Base. The joint partnership allowed for mission success and one of the largest air evacuations and relocations in history to occur – this is quite the feat! The Deputy Commander of the 86th Air Wing bestowed awards to multiple members of the 39th MCB for this successful operation. The cooperation and synchronization between our various military branches is what makes the American military such an elite force.
