SAAM 5K run/walk

The Army and Air Force will host a Sexual Assault Awareness Month 5K Run/Walk April 25 at the Ramstein Southside Fitness Center in Bldg. 2117. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the run/walk starts at 9. Registration is free for all participants. The first 100 to register will receive a free T-shirt. Sixth annual AER Golf Tournament

Ramstein Woodlawn Golf Course hosts its sixth annual Army Emergency Relief Golf Tournament in support of the Army Emergency Relief Campaign May 15 at the Ramstein Woodlawn Golf Course. Registration begins 6:15 a.m.; Shotgun start is at 9. Price is $60 for members and $75 for non-members. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place. There will also be a prize for the last place team. Advance purchase of tickets is required. Softball clinic, practicum tournament

Installation Management Command-Europe hosts the final day of a free softball officials’ clinic at10 a.m. today at the Kaiserslautern Community Activities Center on Daenner Kaserne, Bldg. 3109. This clinic is open to ID cardholders, ages 18 and older. A practicum tournament will be held at the KAD field Saturday and Sunday. The practicum tournament is open to the first eight teams to sign up. USAG cross country 10 miler

Are you a long distance runner? Practicing for a marathon? The USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Cross Country Invitational 10 miler is on May 16. Registration for the run will be held from 9 to 10:15 a.m. on Rhine Ordnance Barracks, Bldg. 370. The run begins at 10:30 a.m. T-shirts will be given to the first 50 runners to register. Join former UFC competitor, Chris “Lights Out” Lytle, for a Ready and Resilient Combative Training from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Kleber Fitness Center. Women’s soccer team needs players

The FV Olympia Ramstein women’s soccer team is looking for players age 16 and older. Practice time is 7 to 8:30 p.m. every Monday and Wednesday at the FV Olympia Ramstein soccer field at Am Hocht (across from the Esso station) in Ramstein village. Powerlifting clinic and invitational

Installation Management Command-Europe will host a free officials’ clinic from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday to April 24 at IMCOM-E Headquarters on Sembach Kaserne, in Bldg. 111, room 153. This clinic is open to ID cardholders, ages 18 and older. A powerlifting invitational will be held at the Sembach Fitness Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 25. Youth sports coaches needed

KMC Youth Sports has volunteer opportunities for this coming baseball/softball season. Practices begin on Monday. The season runs from Saturday to June 13.

Family Fitness Night

The Ramstein Southside Fitness Center will offer a  night of fun 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 24 at its basketball courts.  There will be a variety of fitness activities for all ages, 6 and up. Join in on Zumba, yoga, dodgeball, an obstacle course and basketball. No sign ups needed and free to all ID card holders.
