50th anniversary celebrated

Father Helmut Pflanz receives a plaque from Father (Capt.) Donald Romero, 435th Air Base Wing Chaplain’s Office. Father Pflanz, contract priest for the KMC Holy Family Catholic Faith Community, recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of his ordination.

Father Pflanz was ordained at the Cathedral of Speyer June 29, 1958. Holy Family Catholic Parish recognized this milestone with a concelebrated mass and reception at the Vogelweh Vigil Mass June 28, the vigil of his anniversary.
