86 AW command team visits GSUs

U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Ernesto Rendon, 86th Airlift Wing command chief, fires an M-4 Carbine rifle during a training session inside the 65th Security Forces Squadron’s Combat Arms Training and Maintenance building at Lajes Air Field, Azores, Jan. 30. The M-4 Carbine is a selective-fire rifle featuring both semi-automatic and automatic firing modes.

The 86th Airlift Wing command team visited Morón to thank Airmen for all their hard work in 2018 and set expectations for 2019.

Sandra Morales, 65th Logistics Readiness Squadron supply technician, receives her 86th Airlift Wing civilian category one quarterly award during an all-call at Lajes Air Field, Azores, Jan. 30. Since Morales won at the wing level, she will now compete at the major command level.
