Twenty members of the Bundeswehr fire department visited Fire Station 1 on Ramstein to conduct fire drills during which they were given a tour of the facilities and learned how to operate the systems of base fire trucks. This allows the Bundeswehr to have the capability to work alongside Ramstein firefighters to provide support to the base in the event of a major disaster or emergency situation.
