The Gartenschau Kaiserslautern kicks off summer magic Aug. 2, at 9 p.m., with pianist Jessica Riemer. Pack your picnic basket and enjoy an evening listening to piano sounds in the illuminated park. As a walkact, “The Illuminators” mingle with night watchman Otto Lampe and the night bird among visitors and let them discover the miniature worlds of the night.

Summer magic 2019 will end Saturday, Aug. 3, with the annual summer night, the world of lights and live music entertainment by Ruppert Spielt, at the Freilichtbuehne, “open-air-stage,” starting at 6 p.m. The musician, born in Kaiserslautern, will play his favorite songs, songs from the eighties and some of his own music compositions. Following at 8 p.m., is musical entertainment with Stockert & Friends with soul, rock, funk, pop, and dance music.

At 7 p.m. on Kaiserberg, Jackie Bristow will be performing country and pop music. She is one of the most promising singers and composers of the genre folk, country and pop.

The playgrounds and dinosaur park invite children to linger and play.
During summer magic and summer night, the newly installed water basin, near the open-air stage, will be the highlight at 10:45 p.m. In combination with lights, lasers and music, water fountains will rise up to 20 meters and create an impressive show.
Tickets cost euro 7 for adults and euro 3 for children.
