Christmas Markets 2019

Christmas Market season is here at last as the scent of cinnamon slowly creeps through cozy cobblestone alleys and fairy lights light up historic old houses. Usually located in the city center, Christmas markets bring families and friends together over sweet and savory delicacies. Live music and romantic wooden huts selling crafts, decorations, clothes and kitchen utensils complement versatile programs. As most village markets only open for one Advent weekend, make sure to check your local postings beforehand. Larger markets often last for the entire month and some even stay open until the new year.
