Advance ticket sale for 22nd NATO Music Festival starts this month

The City of Kaiserslautern launches the advance sale of tickets for the 22nd NATO Music Festival this month. The open-air event will take place — as usual — June 11, 2011, in the Fritz Walter Stadium in Kaiserslautern.

Though the exact list of military bands is not finalized, the program suggests interesting international participation. Military bands from various NATO nations including the U.S. Air Forces in Europe Band, the Bundeswehr’s Baltic Sea Navy Band and an ensemble from Luxembourg will once again thrill the audience with an exclusive program.

As a particular highlight, Joy Fleming, a German singer famous for her fantastic voice and her great musical repertoire, is going to perform during the festival.
