Agape kindergartners prepare for first year

***image1***Future kindergartners and their parents met recently at the Agape
International Academy for its first Kindergarten Roundup April 27 at
the school in Ramstein.

Agape, a private Christian school, offers a pre-K to 12th-grade program
using an accredited college preparatory curriculum. About 60 percent of
the pupils are from KMC military families.

The Kindergarten Roundup offered parents the opportunity to learn more
about the academy’s philosophy and the importance of a Christian-based
education. Parents met teachers and discussed their personal beliefs
about education and the advantages of small personalized classroom
instruction.

“The Roundup was very informative and I know my daughter will have a
productive year at Agape just as my son did,” said Staff Sgt. Lisa
Walton, whose daughter will be in the kindergarten class at the academy
for the 2006-2007 school year. “(My son) will be graduating from
kindergarten this school year at the academy and I am very pleased with
his progress.”
