Altstadtfest offers three days of entertainment

Each year, the Altstadfest Kaiserslautern lures around 150,000 visitors. This year it takes place July 6 to 8.

When Kaiserslautern’s “Altstadt” (old city) becomes a giant open-air-pub, it’s party time again. Culinary delicacies, street theaters, arts and crafts and live music of all kinds on nine stages await visitors.

The Emperor’s fountain in Steinstrasse at Mainzer Tor (Mainz Gate) is surrounded by activities of the Altstadtfest.

With rock, soul or blues, Japanese cuisine or Palatinate specialties, high quality leather goods or individual jewellery — there will be somthing for everyone. Approximately 150,000 visitors enjoy this colorful mixture of entertainment, culture and delicacies every summer in the old city center of Kaiserslautern.
