Staff Sgt. Iris Carpenter, 569th U.S. Forces Police Squadron member and ceremony coordinator, places an award before the quarterly awards ceremony and monthly promotion ceremony, July 31 on Ramstein. The ceremony recognized award winners and highlighted Airmen advancing to the next rank.

Leayssa Murray, daughter of Master Sgt. William Murray, 786th Force Support Squadron Air National Guard recruiter, makes a hummingbird balloon animal for Elizabeth Yeager, daughter of Maj. Jeremy Yeager, deployed from the 76th Airlift Squadron, at the deployed family picnic, July 25 on Ramstein. The deployed family event, hosted by the Ramstein Airman & Family Readiness Center, consisted of different activities while striving to support the families of deployed military members.

Staff Sgt. Amanda Sandry, 86th Medical Support Squadron laboratory technician, conducts a routine blood check to inspect the health of platelets, and white and red blood cells, July 31 on Ramstein. The 86th MDSS provides quality control and analyses as well as blood test results to ensure a healthy work force.

Customer Abbey Fordham glazes pottery at the Arts and Crafts Center, Aug. 1 on Ramstein. The Arts and Crafts Center is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and offers classes ranging from pottery to ceramics and engraving throughout the year.

Pvt. Antoinette Sewell, a human resources specialist with the 21st Special Troops Battalion and a native of Chicago, checks the windshield washer fluid on a Humvee during a Preventive Maintenance, Checks and Services, July 29. Sewell along with other Soldiers from the STB conduct PMCSs on a weekly basis.
