Article 15 Actions – May 2006

DUI: A Senior Airman was charged with operating a vehicle while drunk,
in violation of Article 111 of the Uniform Code of Military
Justice.  Punishment consisted of reduction to the grade of Airman
1st Class and a reprimand.

DERELICTION OF DUTY (X2): A Staff Sergeant was charged with one spec of
sleeping on duty and one spec of watching a movie on a government
computer while on duty, in violation of Article 92 of the UCMJ.
Punishment consisted of reduction to the grade of Senior Airman and a
reprimand.

DUI: A Staff Sergeant was charged with physically controlling a vehicle
while drunk, in violation of Article 111 of the UCMJ. Punishment
consisted of a reduction to the grade of Senior Airman.

WRONGFUL USE OF MARIJUANA: A Senior Airman was charged with using
marijuana, in violation of Article 112a of the UCMJ.  Punishment
consisted of reduction to the grade of Airman and a reprimand.

FAILURE TO OBEY A LAWFUL ORDER: An Airman 1st Class was charged with
violating a no contact order, in violation of Article 92 of the UCMJ.
Punishment consisted of a suspended forfeiture of $200 pay per month
for two months, 14 days extra duty, 14 days restriction and a reprimand.

FAILURE TO GO and DISRESPECT TOWARD A NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICER: A
Senior Airman was charged with failing to go to a scheduled appointment
and using disrespectful language toward an NCO, in violation of
Articles 86 and 91 of the UCMJ. Punishment consisted of Reduction to
Airman 1st Class, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.

AWOL: An Airman 1st Class was charged with being absent without leave
less than three days, in violation of Article 86. Punishment consisted
of a suspended reduction to Airman, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.

AWOL and FALSE OFFICIAL STATEMENT: A Senior Airman was charged with
making a false official statement and being absent without leave for
three days or less, in violation of Articles 86 and 107 of the UCMJ.
Punishment consisted of a forfeiture of $1,009 pay per month for two
months.

DRUNK AND DISORDERLY: An Airman 1st Class was charged with being
disorderly while intoxicated, in violation of Article 134 of the UCMJ.
Punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of Airman and a
reprimand.

DUI: An Airman 1st Class was charged with physically controlling a
vehicle while drunk, in violation of Article 111 of the UCMJ.
Punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of Airman, a suspended
forfeiture of $500 pay per month for two months and 14 days extra duty.

DUI: A Staff Sergeant was charged with physically controlling a vehicle
while drunk, in violation of Article 111 of the UCMJ. Punishment
consisted of a reduction to the grade of Senior Airman and a reprimand.

DUI: A Technical Sergeant was charged with physically controlling a
vehicle while drunk, in violation of Article 111 of the UCMJ.
Punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of Staff Sergeant and
30 days extra duty.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY and DRUNK AND DISORDERLY: A Senior Airman was
charged with three specs of Article 128 and one spec of Article 134, of
the UCMJ. The member assaulted three individuals while intoxicated.
Punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of Airman, a suspended
reduction to Airman Basic, a forfeiture of $154 pay per month for two
months, and a reprimand.
