***image1***The Association for the Advancement of German-French Partnership sponsors its traditional Easter market 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Westpfalzhalle (community hall) in Niederkirchen.

Like in recent years, Westpfalzhalle will be decorated in a festive atmosphere with colorful flowers and Easter decorations.

More than 30 exhibitors display and sell Easter items. Artists such as glass blowers, turners, potters, silk painters and basket weavers present their handcrafted items. Also, vendors from Niederkirchen’s French sister city Grancey le Chateau will be there.

Visitors can taste culinary specialties and wines from France. There is coffee and cake, and a children’s raffle. Admission is €1. Children under 14 are admitted free.

Niederkirchen is located north of Otterberg, past Schallodenbach.
