Baking goodies

***image1***Children from the Ramstein-Miesenbach C&K Children’s House Montessori preschool and kindergarten were treated to a special day recently in the Rudolf Schneider Baeckerei (Bakery), in Einsiedlerhof Kaiserslautern.

Children, ages 3 to 6 years old toured the bakery, learned about mixing ingredients and nutrition and made heir own seasonal goodies.

Teachers from the school said it was a chance for children to learn about people in their community.

While the children were waiting for their cookies to bake, the baker handed out freshly baked pretzels and drinks and the children sang for the bakery staff.
