“This exercise shows our ability as a wing to organize and get people and equipment quickly and safely out of town,” said Capt. Jerry Gonzalez, 435th Logistics Readiness Squadron installation deployment officer. “And it measures our ability to respond to higher headquarters’ taskings.”

Airmen at the Deployment Processing Center – with help from 435th LRG augmentees – prepared cargo and set up 24-hour operations to process mobility personnel and equipment.

Four chalks of equipment and people were moved, along with a four-ship deployment of 86th Airlift Wing C-130s.

“It involves a lot of resources and manpower from our base,” said Captain Gonzalez.
