Risks of tobacco use

Gum disease: The chemicals in tobacco products can damage the gums causing gum recession which makes your teeth prone to sensitivity.

Tooth decay: Smokeless tobacco contains sugars and chemicals that contribute to tooth decay!

Oral cancer: Smokeless tobacco significantly increases the risk of oral cancers, including mouth, throat, and tongue.

Bad breath: Tobacco is known to cause consistent bad breath and staining.

Set a quit date and prepare for the challenge! Setting a goal allows you to set a date and commit to it.

Be kind to yourself you are making a big step and it’s normal to have setbacks. If you slip up don’t worry just reinforce your goals and continue on!
