April 5

6:50 a.m.: An Air Force NCO reported theft of his motor vehicle. An unknown person removed his secured vehicle from his residence. There are no known suspects or witnesses.

April 6

5 p.m.: A dependent reported an assault, communicating a threat and damage to private property. At two different times and dates the dependent was struck multiple times by two local nationals, creating minor cuts to his lip, scrapes to his left ear, elbow, and hand, and headaches. The local nationals threatened him and broke his skateboard in half. The dependent declined medical attention and the investigation was assumed by Polizei.

6:35 p.m.: An Air Force member’s child was in legal custody of another individual when the child climbed a tree and fell off, giving him a broken nose and concussion. The individual failed to inform the guardian and did not provide medical treatment. The child was later transported to LRMC where he was treated for his injuries.

April 7


9:47 a.m.: An Air Force NCO reported theft from his motor vehicle and damage to private property after someone stole property from the NCO’s car and damaged the interior of the vehicle.

4:11 p.m.: A dependent reported a vandalism in progress. Two children caused minor fire damage to Vogelweh Family Housing area playground equipment. Security forces verified the damage and the two children were advised of their legal rights.

April 8

5:12 p.m.: A civilian reported suspicious activity. An individual was driving behind a Department of Defense  school bus, following the route in Frankfurt. Polizei was notified of the license plates, which came back registered to a different vehicle.

April 9


2 p.m.: An Air Force NCO reported suspicious activity off base in Kaiserslautern. An unidentified vendor was selling U.S. military uniform items. The investigation was released to AFOSI.

8:51 p.m.: A Soldier and his dependent were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical when he struck her in the face with a closed hand numerous times. The dependent was transported to LRMC where she was treated for a bloody nose, a concussion, multiple bruises on left side of her head and minor scratches behind her left ear. The Soldier was advised of his legal rights.

April 10

12:04 p.m.: A dependent reported theft from her motor vehicle. Investigation revealed an unknown person by unknown means stole one TomTom GPS with mount and car charger from her secured vehicle. There are no visible damages and no known suspects or witnesses.

April 11

5:49 p.m.: Two children were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical when one child placed the other in a choke hold and struck him multiple times in the back. The victim requested medical attention and was treated on scene.

Barments
A family member’s husband was barred for driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

UCMJ Actions
» The 86th Medical Squadron commander administered non-judicial punishment under Article 15, Uniform Code of Military Justice, to a senior Airman for violation of Article 111, drunken operation of a vehicle. The commander imposed punishment of reduction to Airman basic, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.

» The Det 1, 460 Space Communications Squadron commander administered non-judicial punishment to a staff sergeant for violation of Article 111, drunken operation of a vehicle. The commander imposed punishment of reduction to senior Airman, 14 days extra duty and a reprimand.

» The 86th Vehicle Readiness Squadron commander administered non-judicial punishment to an Airman first class for violation of Article 86, failure to go, and Article 92, dereliction of duty. The commander imposed punishment of suspended reduction to Airman basic, forfeitures of
$733 for two months with one month suspended, 30 days restriction to base, and 30 days extra duty.
