The KMC Chapter of Military Council of Catholic Women will hold their monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at the Ramstein North Chapel. The meeting will begin with the rosary and continue with a potluck dinner and guest speaker on Catholic Apologetics. All are welcome to attend.

An organist is needed for Catholic and Protestant Services at the chapel on Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.  Qualified organists are sought for contract to play two manual, 45 register, 32 pedal prestige 60 German organ for Sunday services. Another organist is also needed for Catholic and Protestant Services at the chapel on Daenner Kaserne.

Qualified organists are sought for contract to play three manual, 57 register, 32 pedal prestige 80 German organ for Sunday services. Both individuals must be capable of playing traditional hymns for both services, to include Liturgical sequences of a Mass or Lutheran Liturgy and be able to accompany choral arrangements as needed. Military dependents, military retirees and local nationals within the commuting area are eligible to bid on these contracts. For more information, call 0631-3406-4098.

The next Ramstein Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed Club #042 is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Ramstein Youth Center. AWANA is a nonprofit, international, nondenominational, Christian youth ministry. Classes and training

The Air Force Association− First Command Educational Foundation is offering the Air Force Excellence Scholarship. Active duty and Reserve/Air National Guard Air Force service members, their spouses and dependent children (under age 23) may apply for this scholarship.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll, full-time or part-time, in fall 2008 in an undergraduate or graduate program of studies leading to an associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree at an accredited college or university. Applications must be received by the AFA no later than April 30. For more information, call the Ramstein Education Center at 480-2032.    

The University of Phoenix will hold its 2008 European Commencement on June 22 at the Kongresshaus Stadhalle Heidelberg in Heidelberg. The deadline for graduates to register for the ceremony May 11. For more information, call 480-8993.

The USAG-K’s Equal Opportunity Office will host Prevention of Sexual Harassment Training at 9 a.m. April 10 in the Learning Center, Bldg. 3718 on Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. For details, call 493-4277 or 0631-3406-4277.

Employee Assistance Program will host Substance Abuse Training for all Department of Army civilians 10 to 11 a.m. April 10 at the Learning Center, Bldg. 3718 on Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. The Kaiserslautern Transition Center will  host a pre-transition briefing 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. April 14 in Bldg. 3245 on Kleber Kaserne. Soldiers are required to attend this presentation at least 90 days prior to separating (not retiring) from the Army. To register, call 483-7071 or 0631-411-7071.

The 26-and-under Intermediate Driving classes are given at 1 p.m. Thursdays at the USAG-K’s In-processing Training Center, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne. Family members are welcome to attend. For more information, call 483-8805/6509.

The Daenner Kaserne Drivers’ Testing Station issues military drivers’ licenses for non-tactical vehicles by appointment only on Tuesdays. Appointments can be made by calling 483-7335.

National Security Personnel System HR Elements and Performance Management training will be offered April 16 and 17 for new employees and supervisors and to those who missed previous training sessions. Please note that these classes are mandatory for all NSPS employees and their supervisors. The USAG-K’s education centers host Army Recruiting Command presentations for non-commissioned officers at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday at the education center, Bldg. 286 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks.
