Seven hours of sleep a night is recommended for adults by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. While 24/7 operations in the Army make shift work a necessity, this also affects the body’s circadian rhythms which signal the body when one should feel alert or sleepy.

The dining facility closed on Jan. 15 due to some much-needed renovations, and it looks like it’ll be out of commission for about 18-25 months. Many Airmen, myself included, may be wondering where their next meal is coming from and what it’s going to cost.
