The Rheinland-Pfalz Agricultural Chamber from Kaiserslautern and the
City of Ramstein-Miesenbach sponsor the 13th farmers market from 10
a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday in Ramstein-Miesenbach, where Germans will
celebrate their Thanksgiving.

The culture and conference center, Haus des Bürgers in
Ramstein-Miesenbach will host its first performance of the 2009-2010
play season Wednesday. A diversified program with 30 events including
concerts, musicals, operettas, dances and speaking theater is scheduled
to take place until May 2010.
More than 70 farmers and vendors will present their products and items
at the traditional Hitscherhof Farm Fest, which takes place from 11
a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The Kaiserslautern Garden Fair sponsors its first pumpkin festival until Oct. 31.
Visitors can admire more than 20,000 pumpkins and 150 different types
until the garden fair closes its doors the last day of October. There
are colorful and tasty pumpkins and those good for decorations and
carving.
