The German-American Community Office, the housing referral office and
the City and County of Kaiserslautern continue to receive complaints
about American citizens living on the economy, who do not treat their
pets according to German law.
The German-American Friendship Association Siegelbach starts its second
semester of German classes for beginners and continuing students Sept.

Visitors to the Falkenstein castle ruins will be taken back to the 13th century with a medieval fest Saturday and Sunday.
While most motorists in the north and east of Europe must drive with
their headlights on even during the day, in the south and west there
are few regulations.
The Catholic annual community picnic will be Aug. 18 following the
5 p.m. Vogelweh Mass and all day Aug. 19 at the Ramstein North Chapel.

bicycle paths − some strictly for bikes and some that are combined with
walking paths for hikers.
Kirchheimbolanden celebrates its annual summer fest, called
Col. Earl Matthews, 435th Air Base Wing commander, meets and greets
families at the Project Care dinner July 26 at the Kapaun Air Station
Dining Facility.
Walkers, hikers, bicyclists and inline-skaters have a public street all to themselves Sunday.
