The German automobile club, ADAC, wants to make travelers aware of the
fact that vacation time is also a high season for criminals.

Vacationers traveling during summer might want to know about national holidays in the countries where they travel.

Every year on the second Saturday of August, this year being Aug. 9,
about 500,000 guests will witness the most magnificent spectacle of the
Mosel. The Rhine Aflame festival will light up the countryside on
Saturday in Koblenz. For the event, castles, old half-timbered houses
and the Rhine shore will be illuminated. Up to 10 fireworks displays
will top off the celebrations along the river between Braubach, Spay
and Koblenz.
