The Middle Ages are back at Lichtenberg Castle near Kusel Saturday and
Sunday when a medieval fest takes place. Vendors and craftsmen in
historical costumes present and sell their merchandise. A knights camp
is set up where knights present show fights. Medieval music groups and
jugglers and fire-eaters entertain visitors. Food based on old recipes
is offered.

The village of Zell, which belongs to the community of Zellertal
presents itself under the slogan,

Lichtenberg Castle near Kusel is the stage for an herb market 10 a.m.
to 6 p.m. Sunday. Herbs are the center of attention. Visitors can learn
everything about herbs including herbs in pots, decorations, oils,
garden ceramics and literature.
