Staff Sgt. Monique Chamberland, 86th Dental Squadron dental lab technician, refines the occlusal contacts on a hard night guard Jan. 11 on Ramstein. Despite being the only one in U.S. European Command, the area dental lab is one of 10 certified dental labs in the Department of Defense and has a deployment rate of 98.6 percent, which is 3 1/2 percent above Air Force standard.

To qualify with the M9, the Airmen were required to hit 35 shots of 45 rounds, while Airmen aiming for the expert accoutrement needed 41 total hits, six of which being lethal head shots and 25 lethal chest shots.
