It’s easy to take for granted the effort that goes into shipping and receiving mail here in Germany. There are dedicated postal workers that know receiving that special package from back home can boost morale and soften hearts.
The KMC has two retiree organizations — one for the Army and one for the Air Force — that are mandated by regulation to represent, support, help and advise retirees and the chain of command. Due to the nature of our combined community in Kaiserslautern, the two organizations work together to provide these services.
The recycling center on Ramstein across the street from Burger King is temporarily closed in order to move into a new facility.
