Staff Sgt. Michael Smith, 86th Security Forces Squadron military working dog handler, receives an American flag during a memorial service in honor of his MWD Brutus Nov. 20 on Ramstein. Brutus served with the 86th SFS as a patrol explosive detection dog, where he deployed three times in support of operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.

Staff Sgt. Megan Cotter, 86th Medical Operations Squadron NCO in charge of ambulance services, tells Maj. Courtney Wallace, Family Health Clinic clinical nurse, about the symptoms of a patient being seen at the Cold and Allergy Clinic Nov. 4 on Ramstein. The clinic was opened to help relieve the increased volume of patients brought to the Family Health Clinic suffering from symptoms associated with the winter and spring seasons.

An E-3 Sentry airborne warning and control system aircraft assigned to the E-3A Component at NATO Air Base Geilenkirchen, Germany, taxis onto the Ramstein flightline Nov. 18. The NATO AWACS visited Ramstein in order to familiarize NATO Allied Air Command leadership with its capabilities, as the E-3A Component is scheduled to come under operational command of AIRCOM in fall 2016.
