Brig. Gen. Jon T. Thomas, 86th Airlift Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Phillip Easton, 86th AW command chief, sign pledge forms in support of the Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas Oct. 22 on Ramstein. The CFC-O allows U.S. military members and U.S. government civilian employees to donate to the charity of their choice, with more than 2,600 charities available to choose from.

A Moldovan student plays pingpong Oct. 19 at Liceul Teoretic Alexei Mateevici School in Sanatauca, Moldova. Airmen from the 435th Construction and Training Squadron and the 52nd Civil Engineer Squadron worked on renovations at the school since Sept. 23. The renovations were part of the Moldova Humanitarian and Civic Assistance program as part of a military and civilian theater security cooperation program the U.S. European Command uses to directly impact civilian communities throughout 17 countries, primarily in Eastern Europe.
