Freinsheim will celebrate its annual blossom fest under the motto, “Cooking, Arts, Wine,” Saturday and Sunday. The wine growing community will present the new season’s wines, and visitors have the opportunity to talk to vintners. The I-Punkt Freinsheim (Tourist Information office) and participating wineries will sell wine passes for €12. This pass will authorize visitors to taste 20 wines in small tasting glasses on both days.

Staff sections of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command participated in a weeklong staff exercise designed to assess and improve staff proficiencies on select training tasks March 23 to 27 on Panzer Kaserne.
The staff exercise, or STAFFEX, was the first of three exercises that will prepare the command to participate in Exercise Trident Juncture later this year.

Airmen and Soldiers from Ramstein and U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz partnered up April 1 to kick off the Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month.The kickoff event was held in the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center and included several informational booths with speakers and key leaders on hand for discussion.

General Darren W. McDew, Air Mobility Command commander, visited March 28 through April 2 on Ramstein. During his visit, he held an all-call for more than 500 Airmen from U.S. Air Forces in Europe, 3rd Air Force, and the Ramstein wings.
