Airmen light path to a safer base
With the winter months coming up fast and the hours of daylight gradually shortening, a three-man team from the 786th Civil Engineer Squadron spent July 7 to 25 repairing and replacing streetlights to enhance safety and visibility during the darker hours on Ramstein.

As many of our Airmen at Ramstein were told Wednesday at several town halls, after careful deliberation, I decided to rescind the general order banning alcohol in the dormitories effective immediately.

Housing office works to reduce four-week backlog
The KMC Housing Office on Vogelweh recently took steps to reduce a four-week backlog for customers.
The backlog, a combined Housing and Furnishings Management Office issue, began with 21 unfilled employee vacancies, an increase of approximately 3,000 customers over the past year, and computer problems.

‘Million Gallon Man’ fuels mission
Regardless of the vehicle you operate, it requires fuel. For military vehicles passing through Ramstein Air Base, that fuel is often supplied by Airmen from the 86th Logistics Readiness Squadron, and one Airman from the squadron went above and beyond to perform his mission.
