Russo shared a traumatic experience that changed her life and explained how she developed resilience during and after the event. 
“It is your duty to pay attention to your battle buddy. Not only are we a high risk community, but we are sent to war and sent to hostile areas to do the toughest jobs. If we are not functional within our own ranks, we are failing not just ourselves but our entire country,” Russo said.
