Friends, families and fellow Soldiers gathered outside the headquarters
of the 28th Transportation Battalion April 29 to watch as one of the
most storied companies in the battalion was inactivated after 74 years
of service to the Army.
The 709th Military Police Battalion conducted a change of command
ceremony April 28 at the parade field in Grafenwöhr, Germany, where Lt.
Col. Roger Hedgepeth assumed command of the Warrior Battalion from Lt.
Col. Rob Dillon.
Special Olympics, an international athletic competition for children
and adults with developmental disabilities, takes place Wednesday at
the German Police Academy in Enkenbach-Alsenborn.
The Ramstein network will open more than 30 social media and networking sites next week.
Command Sgt. Maj. Michael E. Biere assumed the responsibility as
command sergeant major of the 7th Civil Support Command from Command
Sgt. Maj. David Stading during a change of responsibility ceremony held
at Daenner Parade Field here April 24.
