Capt. Terry Scott, 86th Airlift Wing executive officer, reported for his four-month rotation at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, in September 2005 and was handed leadership of a project featuring a technology known as Radio-Over-Internet Protocol Routed Network, or RIPRNET. On his watch, this technology was put into practice, safeguarding high-value assets and the lives of coalition members in Iraq.

When Ramstein representatives accepted the Commander in Chief
Sabine Elisabeth Anderson was born at 8:41 a.m. Sept. 21 at Landstuhl
Regional Medical Center and both adoring parents doted on her, though
one was thousands of miles away serving in Kuwait.
Large smiles, chewing gum bubbles and high-fives were the scene Sept.
22 when Ramstein Airmen gave donated goods to orphans and school
children in Kigali, Rwanda.
A former chief master sergeant of the Air Force dedicated to the
preservation of enlisted history was honored at a ceremonial opening of
an enlisted heritage room bearing his name.
The Parish Enlisted Heritage Room became a reality Sept. 22 at the
U.S. Air Forces in Europe Headquarters building where artifacts dating
back to World War II have found a home.
Medical billing offices across the European theater have been
consolidated at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, thus eliminating
redundancies and giving customers one-stop shopping.
