Officials at the Air Force Culture and Language Center, part of Air
University’s Spaatz Center at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., are now
taking applications for the fall session of its “Introduction to
Culture” course.

The USDA free/reduced-price lunch program can save a family up to $464
per child attending Department of Defense Dependents Schools every year.

Military children often have a unique story to tell.

Michael Lawson, 16, said he hopes to share that story from a unique
platform as the 2012 Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year for U.S.
Army Garrison Kaiserslautern.

Active duty and Department of Defense personnel are invited to join the
Drug Education for Youth team as mentors, junior staff, health care
providers and administrative assistants for Phase I and II of the 2012
program.
