Ramstein 199, Heidelberg 95.5
The Ramstein wrestling team dominated a nine-team takedown tournament scoring 199 points Saturday. Heidelberg placed second with 95.5 points and Würzburg was third with 91.5 points. Out of 14 weight classes, Ramstein had nine wrestlers make it into the championship finals. Placing first for the Royals were Trey Fortunato, Noah Sheppard, Coty Reinhart, Cole Maxey and James Horst.
Heidelberg got the best of Ramstein not once, but twice during the Kaiserslautern Christmas Classic basketball tournament Dec. 16 to 19 at Kleber Fitness Center and Gymnasium on Kleber Kaserne.

First place winners for the Royals were: Trey Fortunato, Noah Sheppard, Coty Rienhart, Jose Figueroa, Karl Saucier, Cole Maxey and James Horst.
