CC-Air Headquarters presents annual awards

The AFELM CC-Air Headquarters Ramstein held their annual awards ceremony March 18 at the Ramstein Officers’ Club. Nominees and guests represented both Germany and the United Kingdom. Col. George E. Riebling, acting commander and senior national representative of the U.S. Forces portion of the large CC-Air NATO at Ramstein, hosted the event. 

In all, 42 nominees and annual award winners were recognized for their hard work and outstanding performance in nearly every functional area usually found within a complete wing structure. Additionally, these Airmen’s superb achievements throughout Europe and Afghanistan led to them bringing home 20 Allied Command Operations MAJCOM awards. The theme of this year’s awards ceremony was “Answering the Call” and Sgt. 1st Class Brent Smith, sector training manager, NSCA, CC-Air HQs, was the guest speaker.
